For the yogi who is constantly united with Me through unwavering devotion, remembering Me—the consciousness that pervades all existence—with singular focus and daily without interruption, the attainment of the Self becomes easily accessible. The principle expounded in the preceding verses is here reiterated in condensed form, yet with clarity and compelling force. Prayer is not like an insecticide to be sprinkled occasionally and considered sufficient. Nor should the sanctuary be regarded as a bathhouse, where we enter in an impure state and depart cleansed. Here, Sri Krishna urges with utmost care and special emphasis that this inquiry into the Self, this remembrance of the Divine, must be perpetual, continuous, and unbroken. O Arjuna, I am easily accessible to the yogi endowed with these qualities. This declaration of the Blessed Lord carries particular significance and profound meaning, for without these virtues, one cannot hope for success in meditation.
