3.32 ये those who? तु but? एतत् this? अभ्यसूयन्तः carping at? न not? अनुतिष्ठन्ति practise? मे My? मतम् teaching? सर्वज्ञानविमूढान् deluded of all knowledge? तान् them? विद्धि know? नष्टान् ruined? अचेतसः devoid of discrimination.Commentary The pigheaded people who are obstinate? who find fault with the teachings of the Lord and who do not practise them are certainly doomed to destruction. They are incorrigible and senseless persons indeed.

# BG 3.32 Those who find fault in the divine teaching and refuse to follow it become further deluded and bring ruin upon themselves. Only when a person truly understands the path of life can they be inspired to live a life of purposeful action. If someone begins by condemning a principle, there remains no possibility of living in accordance with that principle. Karma yoga is a path of living, and to attain its beneficial fruits, we must live accordingly. To act while renouncing ego and selfishness is the ideal life through which one may attain constant and great achievements. To abandon such a life is to invite ignorance and ultimately bring about one's own destruction. It is through intellect that humanity holds the highest place in the animal kingdom. The proper use of the discriminative wisdom dwelling in the intellect—the capacity to discern truth from falsehood—is the sole means of self-development. When discrimination is destroyed, one begins to behave according to the impulses of the mind like an animal, and fails to attain the supreme purpose of human life. This is one's ruin.
