“Krishna gives Arjuna one of the most powerful teachings in the Gita: "You must lift yourself up by your own effort. Do not let yourself sink. Your own self is your best friend — and your own self is your worst enemy."”
Today's verse is BG 6.5:
“Krishna gives Arjuna one of the most powerful teachings in the Gita: "You must lift yourself up by your own effort. Do not let yourself sink. Your own self is your best friend — and your own self is your worst enemy."”
This verse invites us to pause and reflect on how we engage with action and its outcomes. The teaching is not abstract — it speaks directly to how we move through each day, each decision, each moment of uncertainty.
Take a moment to sit with this teaching. Notice what resonates. Notice what challenges you.
“If you carried this verse with you all day, what would be different?”
