कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते
You have the right to act...
A guided meditation on this verse: settle, breathe with its meaning, rest in silence, and carry its essence into your day.
यथा दीपो निवातस्थो नेङ्गते सोपमा स्मृता |
योगिनो यतचित्तस्य युञ्जतो योगमात्मनः ||६-१९||
yathā dīpo nivātastho neṅgate sopamā smṛtā .
yogino yatacittasya yuñjato yogamātmanaḥ ||6-19||
Krishna gives a beautiful image: "Imagine a candle flame in a room with no wind — it doesn't flicker at all. That is what the controlled mind of a yogi looks like, steady in the self."

Settle
A flame in windless air does not waver. Let your mind become that steady, living flame.
The essence
A flame in still air does not flicker.
Breathe
You grow still as windless air You let the flame steady
Contemplate
What winds keep your inner flame flickering?
Take with you
Write of what would still the air around your flame.
