“Krishna points out a truth most people miss: "Pleasures that come from contact with the outside world — a good meal, a compliment, a thrill — they all have a beginning and an end. They create pain, Arjuna. A wise person does not chase them."”
Today's verse is BG 5.22:
“Krishna points out a truth most people miss: "Pleasures that come from contact with the outside world — a good meal, a compliment, a thrill — they all have a beginning and an end. They create pain, Arjuna. A wise person does not chase them."”
This verse invites us to pause and reflect on how we engage with action and its outcomes. The teaching is not abstract — it speaks directly to how we move through each day, each decision, each moment of uncertainty.
