“Krishna describes the natural role of teachers and seekers: "Calmness, self-control, discipline, inner and outer purity, patience, integrity, knowledge, direct experience of truth, and faith — these are their natural strengths."”
Today's verse is BG 18.42:
“Krishna describes the natural role of teachers and seekers: "Calmness, self-control, discipline, inner and outer purity, patience, integrity, knowledge, direct experience of truth, and faith — these are their natural strengths."”
Let this verse settle in you slowly. The Gita asks not so much to be read as to be lived — its words meet you in the ordinary texture of your day, in the choices, the duties, and the uncertainties you are carrying right now.
Sit with it for a moment before moving on. Notice the line that stays with you, and the one that unsettles you. Both have something to teach.
“Think of a moment today where this wisdom could have guided you.”
