य एनं वेत्ति हन्तारं यश्चैनं मन्यते हतम् | उभौ तौ न विजानीतो नायं हन्ति न हन्यते ||२-१९||
“Krishna says: "Anyone who thinks the soul can kill or be killed has it completely wrong. The soul does neither — it cannot kill and it cannot be killed."”
Today's verse is BG 2.19:
“Krishna says: "Anyone who thinks the soul can kill or be killed has it completely wrong. The soul does neither — it cannot kill and it cannot be killed."”
Let this verse settle in you slowly. The Gita asks not so much to be read as to be lived — its words meet you in the ordinary texture of your day, in the choices, the duties, and the uncertainties you are carrying right now.
Sit with it for a moment before moving on. Notice the line that stays with you, and the one that unsettles you. Both have something to teach.
“What does this verse mean to you personally, right now?”
