तस्मात्त्वमिन्द्रियाण्यादौ नियम्य भरतर्षभ | पाप्मानं प्रजहि ह्येनं ज्ञानविज्ञाननाशनम् ||३-४१||
“Krishna gives Arjuna a battle plan: "So start by bringing your senses under control. Then destroy this enemy called desire — it is the thing that kills real knowledge and understanding."”
Today's verse is BG 3.41:
“Krishna gives Arjuna a battle plan: "So start by bringing your senses under control. Then destroy this enemy called desire — it is the thing that kills real knowledge and understanding."”
Let this verse settle in you slowly. The Gita asks not so much to be read as to be lived — its words meet you in the ordinary texture of your day, in the choices, the duties, and the uncertainties you are carrying right now.
Sit with it for a moment before moving on. Notice the line that stays with you, and the one that unsettles you. Both have something to teach.
“What habit or pattern in your life does this verse speak to?”
