भवान्भीष्मश्च कर्णश्च कृपश्च समितिञ्जयः | अश्वत्थामा विकर्णश्च सौमदत्तिस्तथैव च ||१-८||
“Duryodhana names the leaders of his own army to Drona: "You yourself, grandfather Bhishma, Karna, Kripa who never loses, Ashvatthama, Vikarna, and Bhurisrava — son of Somadatta."”
Today's verse is BG 1.8:
“Duryodhana names the leaders of his own army to Drona: "You yourself, grandfather Bhishma, Karna, Kripa who never loses, Ashvatthama, Vikarna, and Bhurisrava — son of Somadatta."”
Let this verse settle in you slowly. The Gita asks not so much to be read as to be lived — its words meet you in the ordinary texture of your day, in the choices, the duties, and the uncertainties you are carrying right now.
