सञ्जय उवाच |
एवमुक्त्वार्जुनः सङ्ख्ये रथोपस्थ उपाविशत् |
विसृज्य सशरं चापं शोकसंविग्नमानसः ||१-४७||

sañjaya uvāca . evamuktvārjunaḥ saṅkhye rathopastha upāviśat . visṛjya saśaraṃ cāpaṃ śokasaṃvignamānasaḥ ||1-47||


।।1.47।।संजय ने कहा  --  रणभूमि (संख्ये) में शोक से उद्विग्न मनवाला अर्जुन इस प्रकार कहकर बाणसहित धनुष को त्याग कर रथ के पिछले भाग में बैठ गया।
