अनन्तश्चास्मि नागानां वरुणो यादसामहम् |
पितॄणामर्यमा चास्मि यमः संयमतामहम् ||१०-२९||
anantaścāsmi nāgānāṃ varuṇo yādasāmaham . pitṝṇāmaryamā cāsmi yamaḥ saṃyamatāmaham ||10-29||
।।10.29।। मैं नागों में अनन्त (शेषनाग) हूँ और जल देवताओं में वरुण हूँ; मैं पितरों में अर्यमा हँ और नियमन करने वालों में यम हूँ।।

10.29 Among snakes I am Ananta, and Varuna among gods of the waters. Among the manes I am Aryama, and among the maintainers of law and order I am Yama (King of death).
।।10.29।।नागोंके नाना भेदोंमें मैं अनन्त हूँ अर्थात् नागराज शेष हूँ और जलसम्बन्धी देवोंमें उनका राजा वरुण मैं हूँ। मैं पितरोंमें अर्यमा नामक पितृराज हूँ और शासन करनेवालोंमें यमराज हूँ।
