शरीरं यदवाप्नोति यच्चाप्युत्क्रामतीश्वरः |
गृहीत्वैतानि संयाति वायुर्गन्धानिवाशयात् ||१५-८||

śarīraṃ yadavāpnoti yaccāpyutkrāmatīśvaraḥ . gṛhitvaitāni saṃyāti vāyurgandhānivāśayāt ||15-8||


।।15.8।। जब (देहादि का) ईश्वर (जीव) (एक शरीर से) उत्क्रमण करता है, तब इन (इन्द्रियों और मन) को ग्रहण कर अन्य शरीर में इस प्रकार ले जाता है, जैसे गन्ध के आश्रय (फूलादि) से गन्ध को वायु ले जाता है।।

।।15.8।।किस कालमें ( आकर्षित करता है ) जब यह देहादिसंघातका स्वामी जीवात्मा शरीरको छोड़कर जाता है तब ( इनको ) आकर्षित करता है।,पहले और इस श्लोकके अर्थकी संगतिके वशसे श्लोकके दूसरे पादकी व्याख्या पहले की गयी है। तथा जब यह जीवात्मा? पहले शरीरसे ( निकलकर ) दूसरे शरीरको पाता है? तब मनसहित इन छः इन्द्रियोंको साथ लेकर जाता है। कैसे लेकर जाता है सो बतलाते हैं -- जैसे वायु गन्धके स्थानोंसे यानी पुष्पादिसे गन्धको लेकर जाता है? वैसे ही।
