कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते
You have the right to act...
A guided meditation on this verse: settle, breathe with its meaning, rest in silence, and carry its essence into your day.
इन्द्रियाणां हि चरतां यन्मनोऽनुविधीयते |
तदस्य हरति प्रज्ञां वायुर्नावमिवाम्भसि ||२-६७||
indriyāṇāṃ hi caratāṃ yanmano.anuvidhīyate .
tadasya harati prajñāṃ vāyurnāvamivāmbhasi ||2-67||
Krishna uses another vivid image: "A mind that chases after whatever the senses want is like a small boat caught in a strong wind — it gets swept away and completely loses its course."

Settle
A mind chasing the senses is a boat blown off course. Take hold of the helm and choose one direction.
The essence
Choose your course; do not be blown.
Breathe
You take the helm You release the pull of every wind
Contemplate
Are you sailing your life, or being blown by it?
Take with you
Write of one direction you want to hold your attention toward.
