Arjuna's Question to Krishna

At his lowest point, Arjuna does something remarkable: he asks for help. He turns to Krishna — his friend, his charioteer — and says: 'I am confused about my duty. Tell me what is right.' This act of asking is the foundation of the entire Gita. Without this question, there would be no teaching.

Notice that Arjuna does not ask 'What should I do?' — he asks about dharma, about what is fundamentally right. This is a philosophical question, not just a practical one.
