Arjuna said: What is that Brahman? What is Adhyatma? What is Karma, O best among men? What is declared to be Adhibhuta? And what is Adhidaiva said to be?
In simple words
Arjuna has been listening to Krishna use terms he doesn't fully understand. He asks directly: "Krishna, what exactly is Brahman? What is the self? What is karma? What are these terms about the physical world and the divine powers?"
