यतन्तो योगिनश्चैनं पश्यन्त्यात्मन्यवस्थितम् |
यतन्तोऽप्यकृतात्मानो नैनं पश्यन्त्यचेतसः ||१५-११||
yatanto yoginaścainaṃ paśyantyātmanyavasthitam . yatanto.apyakṛtātmāno nainaṃ paśyantyacetasaḥ ||15-11||
।।15.11।। योगीजन प्रयत्न करते हुये ही अपने हृदय में स्थित आत्मा को देखते हैं, जब कि अशुद्ध अन्त:करण वाले (अकृतात्मान:) और अविवेकी (अचेतस:) लोग यत्न करते हुये भी इसे नहीं देखते हैं।।

।।15.11।।और कई एक --, प्रयत्न करनेवाले? समाहितचित्त योगीजन? इस आत्माको? जिसका कि प्रकरण चल रहा है? अपने अन्तःकरणमें स्थित देखते हैं अर्थात् यही मैं हूँ इस प्रकार आत्मस्वरूपका साक्षात् किया करते हैं। परंतु जिन्होंने तप और इन्द्रियजय आदि साधनोंद्वारा अपने अन्तःकरणका संस्कार नहीं किया है? जो बुरे आचरणोंसे उपराम नहीं हुए हैं? जो अशान्त और घमण्डी हैं? वे अविवेकी पुरुष? शास्त्रादिके प्रमाणोंसे प्रयत्न करते हुए भी? इस आत्माको नहीं देख पाते।
